J Wood is currently made up of Jim, his assistant Matt, and his son Jesse. His daughter, Alex, has recently taken on the remote task of J Wood’s online presence. As a small business, with a family component, we appreciate our customers as much as we love providing safety and warmth to homes.

“I love being outdoors and providing trees with a purpose. The trees’ ultimate gift is providing warmth for a family. The tree life cycle with regards to humans is to provide oxygen, shade, and warmth. Ashes to ashes.”
Jim grew up with the dream of living in the mountains. Now he works in the mountains surrounded by trees and forest, providing people with the greatest resource and protecting them from wildfire.
J Wood has been operating since 2014 in Bailey, Colorado.
